The Singapore Centre for Social Enterprise (raiSE) was set up in 2015 to develop the social enterprise sector in Singapore. We are a sector developer and national advocate for social enterprises, and a membership body with over 400 social enterprise members.
raiSE hopes to seed and nurture the larger community of social enterprises and aspiring social entrepreneurs through our various initiatives to help build a strong and vibrant social enterprise sector.
Whether it is purchasing from Social Enterprises, attending an event to find out more about what social enterprises can offer or even working with one, there are many meaningful ways to suit your level of comfort.
A social enterprise is, like any normal business structure, created to generate profits for the organization. However, unlike a traditional company, it seeks to address certain social issue with extraordinary ideas and solutions. In this workshop, participants will be introduced to the various types of social enterprises, cases studies on innovative ways to solve social problems, measuring social impact, different ways to get funding and much more about being an entrepreneur of a social enterprise.
This is a hands-on workshop that will inspire the participants to start doing instead of dreaming.
