Whether it is purchasing from Social Enterprises, attending an event to find out more about what social enterprises can offer or even working with one, there are many meaningful ways to suit your level of comfort.
The President’s Challenge Social Enterprise Award consists of three categories, based on the number of year in operations or the age of the founders/management:
Social Enterprise of the Year
For social enterprises which have incorporated or operated for more than 2 years (as at 26 May 2017)
Social Enterprise Start-Up of the Year
For social enterprises which have incorporated or operated for 2 years or less (as at 26 May 2017)
Youth Social Enterprise of the Year
For social enterprises founded and managed by youths aged under 35 years old (as at 26 May 2017)
Each social enterprise can choose to take part in one of the categories listed above.
The Award Committee reserves the right to re-assign the social enterprise to another Award category if it deems fit.
Both for-profit and not-for-profit social enterprises are welcome to apply to PCSEA 2017, as long as they meet the required eligibility criteria .
Social enterprises and co-operatives are welcome to apply for PCSEA 2017 as long as they meet the required eligibility criteria.
Your application will be reviewed for completeness, eligibility and adherence to the application guidelines. Incomplete and/or ineligible applications will be rejected. Complete applications that meet the eligibility criteria will be reviewed by the Award Committee. Shortlisted applicants will be notified and site visits or interviews with the Award Committee will be scheduled. Winners will be announced at the Award Ceremony in November/December 2017.
